The Information We Collect

  2. Local authority and NHS commissioners (if your care is funded or commissioned by them).
  3. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) as part of their regulatory role.
  4. Emergency services if required to protect life or safety.
  5. Law enforcement or safeguarding teams where required by law.

We will never sell your information to third parties.

How We Store and Protect Your Information

  • Paper records are kept securely in locked cabinets.
  • Electronic records are password-protected, encrypted, and backed up.
  • Only staff who need your information to carry out their role will have access.
  • We train our staff to handle information safely and confidentially

How Long We Keep Your Information

We will keep your records for as long as is necessary by law and in line with care sector requirements (usually 7 years after care ends). After this time, they will be securely destroyed.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you (Subject Access Request).
  • Ask us to correct any information that is wrong.
  • Ask us to erase your information (in some cases).
  • Limit how your information is used.
  • Object to your information being shared (in some cases).

If you are unhappy with how we use your information, please contact the Registered Manager first.
